Handmade Jin Suo Shi
Jin Suo Shi ("Golden Key") is a rare Cliff Tea varietal with a history of more than 100 years. It is harvested by picking one bud and three leaves. These fat, tender leaves were processed using traditional methods with several charcoal roasts.The finished leaves are tightly twisted, with a green and brown colour. The tea liquour is a yellowish-orange.
Jin Suo Shi is a fragrant tea with a creamy aroma, and the tea liquour is smooth and slightly bitter. If you let the tea liquour remain in the mouth for a few seconds, you will notice a slight bitterness on the upper palate that quickly transforms into sweetness. The sweetness of this tea will increase the longer it is steeped. It has a sweet taste of honey, which leaves the mouth feeling sweet and fresh.
