2021 Harvest

Bai Ji Guan ("White Cockscomb") is one of the Si Da Ming Cong, or "Four Big Famous Bushes". This varietal grows along the cliffs and crags of Wuyi Mountain, which are covered by primitive and vibrant vegetation. The diffused sunlight and the ideal humidity of this area fuel its growth. The roots, trunks and boughs of these old trees are often covered with moss - a sign of the health of the ecosystem.

Our Bai Ji Guan yields a delicate infusion that is fresh, crisp and smooth. The fragrance resembles the unique aroma of rice dumplings and bamboo, with a certain vegetal creaminess. This tea also delights with its velvety mouthfeel and smooth sweetness.
