2008 Bu Lang (400g)
This is one of our favorite sheng cakes from Bu Lang mountain in Menghai County. Thanks to the unique combination of environmental factors such as soil, climate, altitude and the surrounding ecosystem, the leaves and buds of this region’s tea trees are plump and sturdy.
The tea has a faintly bitter taste on the tongue and back of the upper palate. This is followed quickly by a sweet aftertaste and plenty of salivation. The liquor is a clear orange-yellow and full-bodied, conveying the spirit of the mountains and fields.
Great candidate for aging or drinking now.
