“Auspicious”: Traditionally-processed Liu Bao (2000s)

Auspicious” (Pu Tian Jia Qing) from Cha Zhi Ji’s premium collection of Malaysian-storage Liu Bao is rich and smooth with a complex taste profile.  Originated from Wuzhou of the Guangxi Province, it was processed in the time-honoured way that includes wet piling and steaming to facilitate fermentation. Professionally stored in Malaysia, the tea offers a rich brew with a signature flavour that denotes its unique journey of ageing.

AuspiciousLiu Bao belongs to the dark tea (hei cha) category. The relatively light fermentation at the time of production has lent much room for subsequent ageing, which refines its quality and accentuates its appeal in appearance, aroma and flavour.

Viscose and velvety with a naturally sweet aroma, the captivating richness of AuspiciousLiu Bao stays on, traversing back and forth in the mouth and down the throat.
