2002 Yiwu Huang Pian (357g)

Not much is known about this tea other than it is a great opportunity to drink a vintage sheng without the high price tag. Summer leaves used in production have kept the price of this tea down, making it a great buy.

Yiwu Mountain is one of the original Six Great Tea Mountains. It is situated near the village of Yiwu in Mengla County in Xishuangbanna, Yunnan Province. Yiwu Mountain has a superior natural environment, with fertile soil and a mild climate of abundant rainfall and swirling mists. The old-growth tea trees in this area are mostly scattered across the old tea mountain zone, at an altitude of around 1400 meters.
