Half-Handmade Shui Xian

2021 Harvest

The Shui Xian (“Water Sprite”) varietal has broad, thick leaves, producing a tea with lustrous tightly-curled leaves that are said to look like walking sticks. The fragrance is almost an interplay of moss and flowers. When brewed, the liquor is a rich, deep orange-yellow.  

This tea lasts through many infusions; during later infusions, the liquor becomes even more fresh, sweet and lively, with the prominent orchid fragrance gradually giving way to a bamboo-leaf aroma. Overall, the flavour is mellow and refreshing with a lovely floral aroma.
